WHY AM I DOING THIS?

I was looking for information for my label and just wanted to share it only with my label.

But I decided to share it with everyone.

Because I have a lot of problems with my music copyrights.

Here is some information that you can better inform yourself! Or that you know exactly what to look for.

!! Pay attention first !!

Immediately make it clear to every request

that he may only use the track for the VA to download or after price agreement for CDs.

And asks whether it's free or sold! Especially if you gave him a free track.

And of course it's all the same with album ep or single release.

What is an ISRC? (International Standard Recording Code)

The code allows the rights holder (Artist or Label) to identify and track the ‘life’ of their recording.

To match your payment. no more and no less!

►►► !!!! The code itself says nothing about the copyright!!!!

There is no control! So no proof of copyright either!

There are distributors who will give you a free ISRC!

But read through carefully! And I mean really read it carefully!

If your track has already been uploaded to a store, in some stores it is not possible to delete it and upload it with another ISRC.

That means if your label wants to upload your sound to another distributor then only with your own ISRC !!!

If your distributor is not exclusive,

you can move to the new distributor with ISRC and GTIN (Global Trade Item Number).

►►► Always save the two numbers!

Where can i get my own ISRC?

I recently started using Recordjet.com

Available languages: German, English and Spanish

Free Account and Free ISRC (Data Release) !!

If you want to upload something in the stores, it is unfortunately not cheap.

But so far I can say that the money earned is displayed quickly!

The support will answer you back within 1-2 working days!

2 other options

Option 1

I haven't used it myself yet but it shouldn't be bad either. Complicated but Cheaper.

Available languages: German, English

https://mes.rebeat.com/en/digital-music-distribution/

Option 2

If you don't care about your money and you just want your tracks in the stores, I can only recommend

Distrokid.com

You pay once a year and you can upload as many tracks as you want. But definitely not good for making

money!

Copyright! Attention attention!

Every sample you use without your copyrights will be captured by certain streaming services.

For example Youtube. But a lot of stores don't control that!

If you upload a track without 100% copyrights to youtube with content ID via your distributor,

your distributor account can be banned!

Which distributor do you use? And why this one?
Let me know! Let us help each other to see through the unnecessarily complicated theme ☺
